Funeral Plan Regulation
Regulation
On 29th July 2022 it became a mandatory requirement for funeral plan providers to be authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to sell or administer a funeral plan contract. Plan with Grace Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, reference number: 961832
Plan with Grace Limited believe FCA regulation of funeral plan providers is a necessity to make sure that all funeral plan providers abide by what we agree with the FCA that funeral plans should achieve:
- Meet consumer needs
- Offer fair value
Financial Services Compensation Scheme
Because funeral plans are regulated by the FCA this means that when you purchase a funeral plan from us your funeral plan will automatically become FSCS protected.
The Financial Services Compensation Scheme exists to protect customers of financial services firms that have failed. If an authorised firm goes out of business and can’t pay claims against it (or is likely to be unable to), they can step in to pay compensation to customers that incur financial losses.
For all types of funeral plan claims, customers are protected up to £85,000 per eligible person, per firm.

Plan for the future
Once a plan is purchased, the money is held securely in the Plan with Grace Funeral Payment Trust, until such a time it is required to pay for the funeral.
